Kristy Garrett, CADCII, CAMSI
Primary Counselor
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, CADCII, CAMSI and bring over ten years of experience in social services, with six years dedicated specifically to addiction medicine and behavioral health treatment. As a certified addiction counselor, my professional background includes work with the Georgia DUI registry and court-related programs. I have extensive experience supporting individuals through medication-assisted treatment (MAT), co-occurring disorders, and a wide range of mental health challenges.
My work is grounded in an integrated approach that balances clinical knowledge, accountability, and compassion. I have supported individuals navigating substance use disorders by helping them build insight, stability, and practical skills for long-term change.
Teaching and encouragement are central to my work. Coming from long line of educators, I carry a deep respect for learning, growth, and the power of guidance. Working in the addiction field is purpose-driven work for me—it allows me to offer others the support, structure, and understanding that many people have not had access to. I am committed to creating impactful moments where individuals feel respected, empowered, and capable of change.
My goal is to help individuals meet their own expectations while fostering hope, accountability, and a meaningful transformation. Let us prove teamwork makes the dream work!
